BIMSA Reports presents for the 3rd consecutive year the “Study on Construction Expectations in Mexico 2024: Current Situation and Perspectives.” This report will allow us to compare the evolution over three years in terms of macroeconomic behavior and, most importantly, the surveys conducted with builders to understand their current conditions and expectations. The presentation this year is particularly relevant because the survey will be conducted at the end of the current administration and the beginning of the next, reflecting its unique characteristics. We are confident that this presentation will provide valuable insights to industry stakeholders participating in the conference.

In this presentation, we explore an experiential vision of design, unified by architecture and encompassing all scales, from urban projects to object design. We analyze the importance of production processes, both industrial and artisanal, in defining design details that emphasize the conceptualization of each work. We focus on the sensory perception of spaces, conceived as ‘design ecosystems,’ with the aim of promoting the well-being of the inhabitants.
Ramón Esteve is an Architect and Designer; one facet emerges as a consequence of the other. In 1991, he founded Ramón Esteve Estudio under the premise that architecture is a global discipline. His architectural training results in a cross-disciplinary vision where Architecture and Design form a single, almost inseparable concept, generated under the same laws and project premises.
Each project is born with the goal of creating complete environments through a mutual interaction between both disciplines, where design and architecture come together to generate a holistic experience for the user.
His portfolio includes extensive experience in public healthcare facilities, cultural projects, private buildings for public use such as offices, hotels, restaurants, or ephemeral architecture installations, and exclusive single-family homes. In the area of design and artistic direction, he has worked with nationally and internationally renowned brands. Recently, he won the American CID Award in the category of ‘Special Recognition: International Honor’ with the Casa Llobatera project.
