A PROGRAM TO DISCOVER THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN THE INDUSTRY

At the Obra Blanca Ágora, you’ll find a program of technical talks where our exhibitors will share the latest industry developments, including new technologies, product launches, trends, and solutions designed to help move your projects forward.

Technical Talks: Tuesday
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13th , 14:00 – 16:00 h
Location: AGORA. Hall B, entrance via corridor 1800-1700

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13th

14:00 – 14:30 h. “THE FUTURE OF BUILDING: Building to Breathe — Engineering • Ecology • Capital”

Lic. Yurima Cruz Gutiérrez

THE FUTURE OF BUILDING is a conference that presents an integrated vision in which engineering, sustainability, and finance are no longer treated as separate disciplines, but come together as a shared language for creating value.+Ver más

14:45 – 15:15 h. “PVC vs. Aluminum: A Technical Performance Comparison of Window and Door Systems”

Rubén Díaz

A technical comparison of PVC and aluminum window and door systems, based on laboratory data and international standards. The presentation challenges common misconceptions about PVC through quantitative evidence, including thermal performance (U-values under AAMA standards), acoustic performance (noise reduction of up to 48 dB according to the German VDI 2719 standard), structural resistance (wind-speed testing up to 240 km/h), fire resistance, corrosion resistance, and durability (a service life of up to 50 years compared with 20–25 years for aluminum). It also covers the formulation and certifications of REHAU PVC, as well as case studies from landmark projects in the region. The session is aimed at architects, specifiers, and manufacturers seeking objective technical criteria for selecting window and door systems.+Ver más

15:30 – 16:00 h. “Design, Access, and Maintenance: A New Conversation”

Ing. Roberto González

Architecture does not end when a space looks good; it must also respond to what happens behind walls, ceilings, and finishes. In this conference, we will explore how access solutions can be integrated from the design stage to facilitate maintenance, preserve aesthetics, and help extend the lifespan of spaces. Today, with your attention and participation, we open a new conversation between architecture, functionality, and maintenance—where the details you do not see can make a significant difference.+Ver más

Technical Talks: Wednesday
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14th, 14:00 – 18:00 h
Location: AGORA. Hall B, entrance via corridor 1800-1700

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14th

14:00 – 14:30 h.“What No One Tells You Before Choosing a Window”

Rubén Díaz

Differences between conventional PVC and aluminum fenestration systems, including their main characteristics and benefits.+Ver más

14:50 – 15:20 h. “Can a Façade Generate Savings and Profitability Throughout Its Entire Lifespan?”

Cristina Martínez / Gerardo Garza

See how the façade of Torre T.O.P. turned a strategic decision into energy efficiency, significant savings in both initial investment and operating costs, and greater comfort for its occupants—all backed by real results. A real-world case that demonstrates how a building’s true performance begins with its façade and continues to generate value throughout its entire lifespan.+Ver más

16:30 – 17:00 h. “Innovation That Transforms Spaces”

Sergio Parra

Architecture and interior design are evolving. Today’s spaces are no longer designed simply to meet functional needs; they aim to create experiences, express identity, and adapt to new ways of living, working, and connecting. Innovation begins with the manufacturing process, where design meets technology and precision. Every format, every surface, and every technical feature responds to a clear vision: to provide solutions that enable architects, designers, builders, and installers to bring increasingly efficient, expressive, and durable spaces to life.+Ver más

17:20 – 17:50 h. “From Accent Lighting to a Statement Piece”

Ing. Gabriel Torres

LJ Iluminación shows how its new product lines address real-world spatial design challenges, in a session aimed at architects and interior designers.+Ver más

Technical Talks: Thursday
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15th, 11:20 – 17:00 h
Location: AGORA. Hall B, entrance via corridor 1800-1700

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15th

11:20 – 11:50 h. “Nano-Invisible Protection, Total Resistance: What Conventional Methods Can’t Solve”

Daniel Jacobo Alexander (CEO)

Why put high-end finishes at risk with sealers that yellow, leave a plastic-like film, or fail against moisture? Discover how bio-nanotechnology penetrates at the molecular level to protect natural stone, concrete, and coatings against efflorescence and stains while preserving their original texture and color 100% intact. Eco-friendly protection, free from toxic solvents, in a single application, with remarkable properties such as nano-thermal performance and ultra-hydrophobic protection.+Ver más

12:10 – 13:10 h. “No Playing Allowed: Rethinking the City Through Children’s Eyes”

Marcela González and Leticia Lozano, moderated by Eugenia González

A conversation about how children experience, move through, and make public space their own—and, above all, what the city allows or prevents them from doing. Through design and everyday experience, we will explore how to create spaces that are freer, safer, more inclusive, and conceived with children’s perspectives in mind.+Ver más
