(hereinafter, “EXPO OBRA BLANCA”) makes various Official Contact Channels available under these Terms and Conditions, including its Official Website, institutional email addresses, official telephone numbers, Official Social Media Accounts and Official WhatsApp Channel, in order to facilitate communication with and assistance to visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, suppliers and other persons interested in its events, activities, products and services.
The Official Contact Channels are institutional communication channels through which EXPO OBRA BLANCA provides information, responds to inquiries, offers guidance, follows up on requests and maintains communications relating to the organization and operation of its exhibitions, congresses, events, programs, products and services.
These Terms and Conditions are intended to govern the use and operation of EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s Official Contact Channels, establish the rules applicable to their use and define the legal scope of communications made through such channels, for the purpose of providing clear, secure, transparent and consistent assistance.
The Official Contact Channels are institutional communication and assistance channels; therefore, their use does not replace any contracts, regulations, calls for participation, quotations, service orders, policies, manuals or any other document through which EXPO OBRA BLANCA formalizes legal or commercial relationships.
Use of any of the Official Contact Channels means that the User acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1.- DEFINITIONS
For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below:
User: Any individual or legal entity that accesses, uses or interacts through any of EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s Official Contact Channels.
Official Contact Channels: All communication channels authorized by EXPO OBRA BLANCA to interact with Users, including its Official Website, institutional email addresses, official telephone numbers, Official Social Media Accounts and Official WhatsApp Channel, as well as any other communication channel that EXPO OBRA BLANCA enables and publishes as official.
Official WhatsApp Channel: The WhatsApp Business number authorized and published by EXPO OBRA BLANCA as an official communication and assistance channel.
Official Website: EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s official website and any microsite, platform or section published and recognized by the company as part of its official digital presence.
Official Social Media Accounts: Institutional accounts managed or authorized by EXPO OBRA BLANCA and published as official on any digital platform it uses to communicate with Users.
Privacy Notice: The document through which EXPO OBRA BLANCA provides information regarding the processing of personal data collected through any of its Official Contact Channels. Read it here.
2.- PURPOSE AND SCOPE
These Terms and Conditions govern the use and operation of EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s Official Contact Channels.
Each Official Contact Channel is intended to facilitate communication between EXPO OBRA BLANCA and Users by providing information relating to its exhibitions, congresses, events, programs, products, services and other institutional activities.
Communications made through any Official Contact Channel are for informational and User assistance purposes, without prejudice to the fact that certain matters may require formalization through contracts, quotations, regulations, calls for participation or any other institutional document issued or authorized by EXPO OBRA BLANCA.
Legal relationships arising from the contracting of exhibition spaces, sponsorships, provision of services, registrations, payments, promotions or any other transaction shall remain subject to the contracts, agreements and other legal instruments issued or authorized by EXPO OBRA BLANCA for each case.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall modify, replace or limit the rights and obligations established in such instruments.
EXPO OBRA BLANCA may add new Official Contact Channels, replace existing channels or use technological tools, virtual assistants, automation or artificial intelligence solutions to improve User assistance, without thereby modifying the legal scope of these Terms and Conditions.
3.- ACCEPTANCE
Use of any Official Contact Channel means that the User knows, understands and accepts these Terms and Conditions.
Anyone who does not agree with their content must refrain from using the Official Contact Channels and, where applicable, may contact EXPO OBRA BLANCA through any legally appropriate means for handling their inquiry or matter.
The current version of these Terms and Conditions shall remain available for consultation on EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s Official Website and may be updated whenever necessary to address legal, technological, operational or commercial changes. Use of any Official Contact Channel after an update has been published shall constitute acceptance of the current version.
The User acknowledges that, by voluntarily communicating through any of EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s Official Contact Channels, the User consents to the processing of the information provided for the purpose of handling the relevant inquiry or matter, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the current Privacy Notice, and authorizes EXPO OBRA BLANCA to follow up on such inquiry or matter and to send the communications reasonably necessary for its handling, without prejudice to the User’s right to request that such communications cease once the relevant matter has been concluded or in accordance with the procedure established in the current Privacy Notice.
4.- OPERATION OF THE OFFICIAL CONTACT CHANNELS
The Official Contact Channels are the only channels authorized by EXPO OBRA BLANCA to provide institutional information, respond to inquiries, guide Users, follow up on requests and maintain communications relating to its exhibitions, congresses, events, products, services and other institutional activities.
Each Official Contact Channel shall operate according to its nature and purpose, in accordance with the following provisions:
Official Website. The Official Website is the primary channel for consulting and disseminating EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s institutional information, including information on events, exhibitions, congresses, programs, services, calls for participation, regulations, news, directories, forms, notices and any other content officially published by the company.
Information published on the Official Website is informational in nature and shall prevail over information disseminated through other channels in the event of any discrepancy, unless the relevant document expressly provides otherwise.
Institutional Email Addresses: Institutional email addresses are official communication channels for responding to inquiries, providing information, following up on requests, sending documentation, issuing quotations, confirming registrations or maintaining communications relating to EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s activities.
Receipt of an email shall not imply acceptance of requests, proposals, engagements or contractual amendments unless expressly confirmed through the corresponding institutional procedure.
Official Telephone Numbers. Official telephone numbers are intended to provide personalized assistance, answer inquiries, offer guidance and follow up on matters relating to the events, activities, products and services offered by EXPO OBRA BLANCA.
Information provided by telephone is informational in nature and shall be understood as supplementary to any applicable institutional documents.
Official Social Media Accounts. Official Social Media Accounts are institutional channels for dissemination, communication and interaction with Users, through which EXPO OBRA BLANCA may publish information relating to its events, activities, products, services, campaigns, notices and other information of interest.
Posts, comments, messages or any other interaction made through the Official Social Media Accounts shall be subject, in addition to these Terms and Conditions, to the policies and terms of use established by the provider of each platform.
Information disseminated through the Official Social Media Accounts is informational in nature and does not replace procedures for contracting, registration, allocation of spaces, issuance of quotations or any other formalization required by EXPO OBRA BLANCA.
Official WhatsApp Channel. The Official WhatsApp Channel is an institutional direct communication channel intended to provide information, respond to inquiries, offer guidance and follow up on requests relating to EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s events, activities, products and services.
When handling an inquiry or matter requires the use of an Official Contact Channel other than the one initially used by the User, EXPO OBRA BLANCA may redirect the matter to the channel best suited for its proper handling and shall inform the User accordingly in a timely manner.
Communications made through the Official WhatsApp Channel are informational in nature and are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
When an inquiry requires the involvement of another department, the submission of additional documentation, the issuance of a final quotation, the execution of a contract or compliance with a specific procedure, EXPO OBRA BLANCA shall inform the User of the applicable channel and procedure for handling the matter.
Hours of Operation. The Official Contact Channels may remain available according to the features of each platform; however, personalized assistance by EXPO OBRA BLANCA personnel shall be provided Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except on non-business days or on any dates previously announced by EXPO OBRA BLANCA through its Official Contact Channels.
Messages received outside the hours of operation shall be handled according to the order in which they are received, the nature of the inquiry and the operational availability of the responsible departments.
Response times may vary depending on the volume of requests, the complexity of the matter or the need to obtain information from other EXPO OBRA BLANCA departments, without this giving rise to any liability for the company.
If any Official Contact Channel is unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical failures, unavailability of the relevant platform, unforeseen events, force majeure or any other circumstance beyond EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s control, assistance shall resume as soon as reasonably possible.
EXPO OBRA BLANCA may add, replace, modify, update or disable any of its Official Contact Channels, and may update its email addresses, telephone numbers, official accounts or technological platforms, by providing notice through any Official Contact Channels that remain available.
Automated Responses. To expedite assistance, certain Official Contact Channels may use automated responses, virtual assistants, automation or technological tools to confirm receipt of messages, provide general information, offer guidance on procedures or facilitate initial assistance to Users.
Automated responses are exclusively informational and shall not constitute acceptance, authorization, confirmation, a final quotation, commitment or obligation of any kind on the part of EXPO OBRA BLANCA.
Receipt of a message, delivery confirmation, read confirmation or any automated response merely confirms the technical operation of the relevant communication channel and does not imply that the inquiry has been reviewed, handled, accepted or resolved by EXPO OBRA BLANCA.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies. The Official Website may use cookies, pixels, tags and other tracking technologies, whether proprietary or third-party, including tools provided by technology providers such as Google, Meta or similar services, in order to ensure the proper operation of the website, analyze its use and performance, improve the User experience, compile statistics, measure the effectiveness of institutional communication or advertising campaigns and, where applicable, personalize content. Information obtained through such technologies shall be processed in accordance with the current Privacy Notice and, where applicable, the Cookie Policy published on the Official Website.
When required by applicable law or the policies of technology providers, EXPO OBRA BLANCA may implement mechanisms to inform the User and manage the User’s consent regarding the use of such technologies, in accordance with the Privacy Notice and, where applicable, the Cookie Policy published on the Official Website.
5.- SCOPE OF COMMUNICATIONS MADE THROUGH THE OFFICIAL CONTACT CHANNELS
Communications made through the Official Contact Channels are intended to provide information, respond to inquiries, guide Users and facilitate communication with EXPO OBRA BLANCA regarding its exhibitions, congresses, events, activities, products and services.
Information provided through any Official Contact Channel shall be interpreted according to the context of the inquiry, the status of the relevant matter and the information available at the time it is issued.
Initiating communication with EXPO OBRA BLANCA authorizes it to maintain communications relating to the relevant inquiry, request or matter, including sending notices, reminders, confirmations and related information. The User may request that such communications cease once the matter has been concluded, without prejudice to any communications required to comply with legal or contractual obligations.
When a matter requires the execution of a contract, issuance of a final quotation, acceptance of a commercial proposal, confirmation of availability, allocation of spaces, formalization of a registration, making of a payment or any other action that must be documented, EXPO OBRA BLANCA shall inform the User of the applicable procedure and the documents that must be formalized.
Commercial terms, prices, promotions, benefits, availability of spaces, reservations, participation dates, allocations or any other condition relating to the products or services offered by EXPO OBRA BLANCA shall have legal effect only when formalized through the contracts, quotations, service orders or other documents issued or authorized by EXPO OBRA BLANCA for each case.
Information provided through any Official Contact Channel shall not constitute a binding offer or contractual acceptance and shall not create any obligation for EXPO OBRA BLANCA, unless expressly established in the corresponding legal instrument.
Information provided by EXPO OBRA BLANCA personnel through any Official Contact Channel shall be understood to have been issued within the scope of their duties. Any authorization, amendment, exception or specific condition relating to an engagement shall be valid only when confirmed in accordance with the corresponding institutional procedure.
If an obvious or inadvertent error is identified in relation to prices, dates, availability, promotions, features or any other objective information, EXPO OBRA BLANCA may issue the corresponding clarification or correction and shall inform the affected Users in a timely manner.
Communications made through the Official Contact Channels may be retained when necessary to follow up on requests, maintain continuity of assistance, comply with legal obligations, respond to requests from competent authorities, protect the rights and legitimate interests of EXPO OBRA BLANCA or improve the quality of its services, in accordance with the current Privacy Notice.
6.- USE OF THE OFFICAL CONTACT CHANNELS
The Official Contact Channels must be used respectfully, responsibly, in good faith and in accordance with the purpose for which they were made available.
Their use is intended exclusively for requesting information, making inquiries, following up on matters and maintaining communications relating to EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s activities, events, products and services.
The User must provide truthful, complete and sufficient information whenever necessary to handle an inquiry or matter and must refrain from providing false, inaccurate or misleading information.
The Official Contact Channels must not be used to transmit unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening or fraudulent content, unsolicited advertising, unauthorized bulk messages or any other information that violates applicable law, infringes third-party rights or is unrelated to the purpose for which such channels were made available.
The User must also refrain from sending files, programs, links, code or any other item that could compromise system security, affect the operation of the Official Contact Channels or place the information of EXPO OBRA BLANCA or third parties at risk.
For security reasons, EXPO OBRA BLANCA recommends that Users not share passwords, authentication codes, PINs, banking information, sensitive personal data or any other confidential information that is not strictly necessary to handle an inquiry or matter.
EXPO OBRA BLANCA will never request passwords, authentication codes, PINs, bank card CVVs or any other personal access credentials through any of its Official Contact Channels.
When necessary to verify a request, confirm the User’s identity or follow up on a matter, EXPO OBRA BLANCA may request only the information strictly necessary for such purposes.
When there are reasonable indications of fraud, identity theft, misuse of the Official Contact Channels or any conduct that poses a risk to information security, EXPO OBRA BLANCA may temporarily suspend or limit assistance until the User’s identity has been verified or the relevant situation has been clarified.
EXPO OBRA BLANCA may refrain from responding, temporarily suspend or terminate any communication when it identifies conduct that affects the operation of its Official Contact Channels, constitutes use contrary to these Terms and Conditions or violates applicable law.
Adoption of any of the foregoing measures shall not prevent the User from contacting EXPO OBRA BLANCA through any other Official Contact Channel that remains available.
EXPO OBRA BLANCA recognizes as official only those communication channels published on its Official Website and other institutional channels and shall therefore not be liable for communications made from unauthorized accounts, profiles, email addresses or telephone numbers.
Personal data provided through any Official Contact Channel shall be processed in accordance with EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s current Privacy Notice.
7.- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONTENT
All trade names, trademarks, commercial notices, logos, designs, images, photographs, videos, publications, documents, databases, promotional materials and any other content disseminated through the Official Contact Channels are owned by EXPO OBRA BLANCA or their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
Information and content published or shared through the Official Contact Channels are informational in nature and may be used only for personal purposes relating to the relevant inquiry or matter, unless expressly authorized by the rights holder or otherwise permitted by law.
The reproduction, distribution, modification, publication, commercialization, exploitation or any other use of content disseminated by EXPO OBRA BLANCA without the prior written authorization of the relevant rights holder is prohibited.
When the Official Contact Channels include links, references or access to websites, platforms or services managed by third parties, these are provided solely for informational purposes. Access to and use of such services shall be subject to the terms, conditions and policies established by their respective owners, without this giving rise to any liability for EXPO OBRA BLANCA.
When any Official Contact Channel operates through technological platforms managed by third parties, its operation shall also be subject to the terms, conditions and policies established by those providers. Accordingly, EXPO OBRA BLANCA shall not be liable for the availability, continuity, operation, modifications or interruptions inherent to such platforms, provided that these are beyond its control.
8.- PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Personal data provided by Users through any Official Contact Channel shall be processed by EXPO OBRA BLANCA in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, its Regulations, all other applicable provisions and the current Privacy Notice.
Personal data shall be processed for the purposes of responding to inquiries, following up on requests, providing information relating to EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s events, activities, products and services, and complying with applicable legal and contractual obligations.
Personal data and communications collected through the Official Contact Channels shall be retained only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes described in these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Notice and applicable law. As a general rule, information relating to each annual edition of the event shall be retained until October 31 of the relevant year, unless a legal or contractual obligation or an administrative or judicial proceeding justifies retention for a longer period.
The User acknowledges that certain Official Contact Channels operate through platforms managed by third parties; therefore, the processing of certain information may also be subject to those providers’ privacy policies and terms.
The personal data subject may exercise the rights recognized under applicable law in accordance with the procedure established in EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s current Privacy Notice.
The User may request at any time to stop receiving informational or promotional communications unrelated to an ongoing matter through any of the following mechanisms: (i) sending a request to info@obrablancaexpo.com or registro@obrablancaexpo.com; (ii) using the “Unsubscribe” (“Desuscribir”) option where included in electronic communications; or (iii) sending a message through the Official WhatsApp Channel stating “Please remove me from this contact list” (“Solicito la baja de esta lista de contactos”). The foregoing is independent of the exercise of any rights recognized under applicable law, in accordance with the procedure established in EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s current Privacy Notice.
9.- FINAL PROVISIONS
EXPO OBRA BLANCA may amend, update, expand or replace these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary to address legal, technological, operational or commercial changes, add new Official Contact Channels or strengthen the security and quality of assistance provided to Users.
The current version of these Terms and Conditions shall remain available for consultation on EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s Official Website and shall indicate the date of its most recent update.
EXPO OBRA BLANCA shall endeavor to keep its Official Contact Channels available to the extent reasonably possible; however, their operation may be temporarily affected by maintenance, updates, technical failures, interruptions in telecommunications services, unavailability of technological platforms, unforeseen events, force majeure or any other circumstance beyond its control.
Inquiries relating to these Terms and Conditions or the operation of any Official Contact Channel may be submitted through EXPO OBRA BLANCA’s official channels.
Communications made through the Official Contact Channels do not replace the procedures established for executing contracts, issuing quotations, accepting commercial proposals, formalizing registrations, making payments or carrying out any other action that, by its nature, must be documented through the corresponding instruments.
When a communication made through any Official Contact Channel gives rise to a separate legal relationship, such relationship shall be governed by the applicable contract, regulation, call for participation, quotation, commercial proposal, service order, policy or any other document issued or authorized by EXPO OBRA BLANCA.
In the event of any discrepancy between information published or communicated through the Official Contact Channels and information contained in institutional documents issued or authorized by EXPO OBRA BLANCA, the latter shall prevail.
Use of any Official Contact Channel after an update to these Terms and Conditions has been published shall constitute acceptance of the current version.
10.- GENERAL PROVISIONS
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States and all other applicable legal and administrative provisions.
Any dispute relating to the interpretation, application, performance or enforcement of these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the City of Monterrey, Nuevo León. The User and EXPO OBRA BLANCA expressly submit to such jurisdiction and waive any other venue that may correspond to them by reason of their present or future domicile, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
