Drawing on the experience of EXPERIMENTARQ ARQUITECTOS, this talk explores how artificial intelligence is transforming architectural practice beyond image generation—from design and representation processes to new forms of communication, collaboration, and professional identity-building. With a body of work that brings together built architecture, heritage, metaverse explorations, and a collaborative network spanning more than 18 countries, the studio has represented Mexico across a range of international and digital platforms. The talk offers a reflection on the current state of the discipline and on how artificial intelligence can be integrated into a real-world, critical, and constantly evolving architectural practice.

He is a specialist in innovation, technology, and digital transformation applied to architecture, with more than 20 years of experience and involvement in over 500 real estate and infrastructure projects in Mexico and abroad.
An architect from Tecnológico de Monterrey, he is the founder and managing partner of bimset, a firm focused on BIM consulting and implementation, and currently serves as President of the BIM Alliance of Nuevo León.
His career combines architecture, BIM, visualization, and construction, fields that are now converging with the growing use of Artificial Intelligence to transform the way projects are designed, coordinated, and developed. He also has extensive experience in academia and as a speaker within the AEC industry.
A pioneering phygital architecture studio exploring new frontiers in design, with a particular focus on emerging disciplines such as the metaverse and artificial intelligence. Its practice integrates architecture, technology, representation, and visual culture within a contemporary vision, expanding the discipline beyond traditional boundaries into hybrid, experimental, and innovative environments.
At the same time, the studio has developed strong expertise in the restoration, conservation, and intervention of monuments and buildings of historical and heritage value. Its approach establishes a sensitive dialogue between memory, materiality, and contemporaneity, respecting the original identity of each building while incorporating new architectural solutions that ensure its preservation, functionality, and continued relevance.
