Winka H. Dubbeldam is the founder [1994] and partner of the WBE certified firm Archi-Tectonics NYC LLC widely known for their award-winning work, and recognized as much for its design excellence as for its use of smart building systems, and innovative structures.
Archi-Tectonics’ Asian Games 2023, with a 47 hectare Eco Park and 7 buildings, received the 2023 CTBUH Excellence award, the 2023 Architizer A+ Innovation Award, and the prestigious Luban award among others. In New York the 512GW Townhouse won the 2024 SARA Excellence Honor award, the 2023 AIA award and RTF Futures Award, and the Inscape Meditation Studio won the THA award to name a few.
Recent Exhibitions include: the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025 and 2023, two solo exhibits at the AEDES Gallery Berlin (2019 and 2013), the most recent being Flat Lands & Massive Things. Several group exhibitions included Archi-Tectonics, such as The Albanian pavilion [Venice Biennale 2025], Unbuilt NY in the Queens Museum, New York (2017), Manhattanisms at the Storefront for Art and Architecture, New York (2016), Built by Women, in the AIANY (2015), and The Unprivate House (1999) at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York. Archi-Tectonics has 4 monographs,; the most recent “Strange Objects, New Solids, and Massive Things” by Actar, Spain [2021] and an upcoming book Monsters & Mutants by Park Books [Fall 2025].
Starting September 1 2025, Dubbeldam is the Director and CEO at Sci-Arc in Los Angeles, and Professor Emiritus at the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as Chair of the Department of Architecture 2013-23 and directed the Post-Graduate Program 2003 -13. Dubbeldam also serves as the RIBA External Examiner for the Architectural Association [2023-25] and did the same for the Bartlett, UCL in London [2018-22], She also serves on the editorial board for the PLAN Journal Italy, the advisory board for Collectible and serves in the AIANY Award committee [4 years] and the ULI jury for the prestigious Prize for Visionaries in Urban Development [5 years].

POGGIONE+BIONDI is a founding member of the Association of Architectural Studios of Peru and has received several national and international awards for their projects and professional trajectory over the years.
ARCH. SUSEL BIONDI ANTÚNEZ DE MAYOLO
Susel studied architecture in Lima, completed a postgraduate degree in sustainable building and urban design at IHS in the Netherlands, and earned her PhD in sustainable architecture at UCL in Belgium.
Since 2003, she has been a faculty member at PUCP, teaching undergraduate courses, and since 2017, has been part of the Master’s program in Architecture, Urbanism, and Sustainable Territorial Development, which she has directed since 2023.
ARCH. RENÉ POGGIONE
René studied architecture in Buenos Aires, pursued postgraduate studies in architectural theory at IUAV in Venice, and undertook doctoral studies in the pedagogy of architectural design at UCL in Belgium and later at UdR in Montevideo. He also holds a master’s degree in hospital architecture from the University of Murcia, Spain.
He has taught at the University of Morón in Argentina, and in Peru at UNI, URP, and PUCP.
TOGETHER THEY FOUNDED POGGIONE+BIONDI ARQUITECTOS at the end of 1999, with the shared goal of creating sustainable architecture in every project, regardless of scale or typology. They have since developed institutional, industrial, hospitality, and educational projects—from early childhood education centers to universities—as well as residential projects at various scales, with a particular focus on social housing. Their aim is to create architecture that is humanly sensitive, environmentally responsible, and locally rooted while being part of a global world.

Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem, and Ramon Vilalta have been architects since 1987 and founded RCR ARQUITECTES in 1988 in their hometown of Olot, Spain. Among other awards and recognitions, they received the 2017 Pritzker Prize.
They are recipients of the 2017 Pritzker Prize, the 2005 National Culture Award in Architecture from the Generalitat of Catalonia, the titles of Chevalier and Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2008 and 2014 from the French Republic, Honorary Fellows of the AIA American Institute of Architects (2010), Honorary Fellows of the RIBA Royal Institute of British Architects (2012), the Gold Medal from the French Académie d’Architecture (2015), the Gold Medal of the Generalitat of Catalonia (2018), Foreign Members of the Académie d’Architecture (2019), and Doctor Honoris Causa from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina (2025). Since 2020, they have been part of the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou.
Since 1989, they have served as consulting architects for the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa and have taught Urbanism and Landscape Architecture (1989–2001, Vilalta) and Design Studios (1992–2004, Pigem), also writing essays on architecture and landscape. Since 2008, they have organized and directed an International Summer Workshop at their studio in the former Barberí foundry, through their laboratory structure RCR LAB·A. In 2013, they founded the RCR BUNKA Foundation to foster appreciation for architecture, landscape, the arts, and culture.
They have won numerous national and international competitions and received recognition for works such as the 2015 Spanish International Architecture Award for the Soulages Museum, the 2011 Belgian Building Awards International Prize, ten FAD Awards, as well as one finalist project and four shortlisted works in the European Union Mies van der Rohe Awards.
They have participated in major international and monographic exhibitions, including RCR Arquitectes. Shared Creativity at the Palau Robert in Barcelona, the ICO Museum in Madrid, and the Miramar Palace in San Sebastián; The Intangible Tangible at the House of Art in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic; RCR Dream and Nature at the Venice Biennale; Geography of Dreams at Toto Gallery Ma in Tokyo; and RCR Arquitectes. ICI et ailleurs, la matière et le temps at the Soulages Museum in Rodez. Their work has also been featured in prestigious monographic issues of journals such as El Croquis (nos. 115/116, 138, 162, 190, 228, and compendium 1998–2012, Madrid), AV (nos. 137, 175, Madrid), A+U (nos. 542, 549, Japan), as well as in the book RCR Aranda Pigem Vilalta Arquitectes.
